Home / High School Choice Night

When you’ve been part of the Compass community for 9 years from kindergarten to 8th grade, high school might be an overwhelming thought for you and your child.

With that in mind, our Compass team is here to help.  We’ve organized a High School Choice Night that will take place next Wednesday, November 9th from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Compass.  The event is designed for Navigators (7th and 8th grade are both invited) and their families.

I’ve listed the schools who have RSVP’d below.  In many situations, the principal him/herself will be at Compass for the High School Choice Night.  We hope that there will be an outstanding Compass turnout who will represent our little school so well.

To date, we already have RSVPs from…

  • Private Schools: These are tuition-based schools.
    • LaSalle Academy
    • Bishop Hendricken
    • Rocky Hill School
  • Public Schools of Choice: These are all public schools and your child’s public funding follows your child to these schools.  There is no cost to you and all of these schools are state-wide.  Most have lottery admissions.
    • The Greene School
    • The Met School
    • Chariho Career & Tech
    • North Kingstown Engineering Program
  • District Schools: These schools want to woo you back to your home district.  If you reside in the following districts, you’ll get an opportunity to learn about your home district option.
    • South Kingstown
    • North Kingstown
    • Chariho District
